New laptops may arrive with Alienware Command Center (AWCC) 5.5 but will automatically update to version 6.0 when available. Any profiles created in AWCC 5.5 will not migrate to 6.0.

Boost your game

Prepare for battle in seconds with the touch of a button, without having to exit your game. The F9 button is also the Game Shift macro key, which pushes the fan speeds to their max. The CPU detects this automatically and can shift into Dynamic Performance Mode, giving you the power you need to overcome those tougher in-game situations or complete CPU-intensive tasks.

Inclusion of the Game Shift key may vary by region; the F9 key will still trigger Game Shift.
